contract R&D services

Invetech is a contract R&D services company that develops products and manufacturing systems for both the Vision Systems group and external customers on a global basis.

The company includes more than 150 professional consultants, engineers, applied scientists and technicians specialising in high-technology product and manufacturing systems development for global companies.

clinical diagnostics

Vision BioSystems designs, manufactures and distributes quality products for use in the diagnosis of cancer and infectious diseases. Vision BioSystems is committed to furthering scientific understanding and diagnostic expertise in the healthcare field and to providing leading-edge instruments and reagents to laboratories around the world.

Products and services include:

• Quality histology instruments;
• Novocastra branded immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridisation reagents;
• a dedicated customer support team; and
• a high quality contract instrument manufacturing service.

The histopathology segment of the international in vitro diagnostics (IVD) market is in excess of $1.3 billion. With its strong instrument platforms and high quality reagents (that deliver high margin, recurring revenue streams), Vision BioSystems is growing strongly in a market where the demand for automated systems solutions is estimated to be growing at a rate in excess of 15% per annum.
